YOUR TRUSTED ADVOCATE ACROSS FORT WORTH!

Keeping Our Neighborhoods Safe
As a city council candidate, keeping our neighborhoods safe is my top priority. I’ve heard concerns from neighbors about speeding cars and gunshots at night, and I’m committed to addressing these issues. Our first responders—police, fire, and EMS—are crucial to our safety, and they must have the resources and infrastructure to respond quickly as our community grows. In addition to supporting our first responders, we must work together as a community to curb crime and improve safety. This includes improving community engagement, implementing smart traffic solutions to reduce speeding and improve safety for everyone, as well as strengthening the city’s neighborhood police officer program.

Improving Roads & Infrastructure
Our roads and infrastructure are the backbone of our daily lives, and they need immediate attention. As your city council representative, I will work closely with the TPW Department to address road repairs and advocate for proactive planning to prevent future issues. I will also ensure that our infrastructure is sustainable and capable of handling future growth by partnering with developers and prioritizing projects through smart budgeting strategies. This includes exploring tools like TIFs and PIDs where appropriate.
As District 6 continues to grow, it's essential that our city services keep pace. From waste collection to park maintenance, these services are key to our quality of life. I will focus on streamlining services to make them accessible to all residents and ensure they remain efficient and effective. By implementing data-driven decision-making and responsible budgeting, I will work to ensure our community’s essential services continue to meet the needs of our expanding population.

Fostering Economic Development
District 6 has immense potential for economic growth, but we need the right kind of development. I will work with the city’s Economic Development Department to attract retail, grocery stores, and other businesses that will provide jobs and enhance the local economy. We need more than just multi-family housing—we need a diverse, sustainable economy that brings opportunities to all residents. By lobbying developers for projects that support local businesses, enhance our neighborhoods, and create meaningful job opportunities, we can build a community that thrives.

Champion For Education
My commitment to championing literacy is deeply personal and informed by my extensive experience in education and governance. If elected to the City Council, I will work tirelessly to improve literacy rates across Fort Worth. I believe that by focusing on early childhood education, supporting our teachers, building strong coalitions, engaging the private sector, and fostering a culture of accountability around literacy, we will not only transform the lives of students and families, but garner a brighter future for Fort Worth.
