DR. MIA HALL

From substitute teacher to executive leadership, Dr. Hall climbed the ranks within Fort Worth ISD and has served in all facets of education. She distinguished her leadership as the inaugural principal of Fort Worth ISD’s Young Women’s Leadership Academy earning the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2016 from the U.S. Department of Education. Dr. Mia currently serves as the Executive Director of Strategic Recruitment in FWISD.

Born in Fort Worth and raised in Arlington, Mia shares her expertise and passion with the Tarrant County community as a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County Board of Directors, United Way of Tarrant County's Executive Board & Community Investment Cabinet, and as the 2nd Vice President of the Crowley ISD Board of Trustees. Dr. Hall has served on the Board for three terms and is currently in her 9th year of service.

During Dr. Mia’s tenure on the school board, Crowley ISD has innovated its curriculum, improved facilities, and opened a state-of-the-art career and technical education center, an athletic complex, and an early childhood development center for district personnel. Dr. Hall, in partnership with her fellow board members, the community, and the dedicated educators of CISD, has propelled Crowley ISD from under-performing to a B-rated district by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and is trending toward an "A.”

Voters can rest assured that she will lead boldly and do her part to provide a safe, positive, and inclusive educational atmosphere in which all students can learn and thrive, allocate resources in the best interest of students while balancing taxpayers’ and stakeholders’ interests, and continue engaging local businesses, the faith-based community and non-profit sector, and local officials to form alliances to enhance CISD.

Dr. Hall is the proud owner of Mia Hall Real Estate, co-owner of Innovative Air, and recently served as Zoning Commissioner for District #6 for the City of Fort Worth.
